We take pieces from people who have done the work. Send the idea first, not the finished article.

What we take

• Earning money on the side, and what a gig is really like day to day.
• Looking for work, and what worked for you.
• Handling money that arrives in uneven amounts.

The rules

• It has to be yours, and it cannot be published anywhere else.
• Plain words. A 12 year old should be able to read it. We check this.
• Every number needs a source we can open and check.
• One link to your own site, in the line about you at the end.
• No link stuffing, and no links added for someone else.
• We edit for clarity, and we may say no without giving a reason.

How to send an idea

Write to penny@deepriverdigital.com or use the ask page and pick "I want to write for you". Send two or three sentences on what the piece would say and what you have done yourself.
